Evaluation:

The final mark will be based on the results of a mid-term slide  test (25%), an essay assignment (40%) and a final exam (35%), held at the end of term.

One paragraph from the 'integrity' website has special relevance to the writing of the housing essay which is a major requirement in this course:

No student shall, with intent to deceive, represent the work of another person as his or her own in any academic writing, essay, thesis, research report, project or assignment submitted in a course or program of study or represent as his or her own an entire essay or work of another, whether the material so represented constitutes a part or the entirety of the work submitted.



1.     Slide Test:

        After the first hour of the sixth session, an hour long slide test will be held in this lecture room (G10)
        You will be asked to comment on 5 sets of slides shown previously in the class sessions.

2.     Essay Assignment:

        You are required to submit a paper (about 6 pages of text +as many pages of illustrations as you wish) analyzing  a
        prototypical dwelling type, illustrated with images photographs,  drawings, plans, sections and references.

        STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED  TO WRITE  THEIR PAPERS IN HTML. HTML documents have to
        be handed in in the form of a CD ROM and a HARD COPY PRINT
        Due  date for all papers: They have to be handed in at or before before the last lecture session.

3.    End of Term Exam:

        There will  be a final two hour test, in our regular room (G10)  at a date yet to be set by the University.
