This painting is of the harbour of Chester, a community about 45 minutes east of Lunenburg.  On this day, we decided to jump into the van and do some touring around Lunenburg, stopping in several spots to paint and sketch.  This was painted while sitting on a private dock, with a few curious seagulls watching over us.  Note: the odd dark blue speck in the sky is a piece of fuzz on the scanner--not part of the picture!
