OLIVER SCHANZ

Oliver Schanz graduated with a Diploma in Architectural Design from the University of Kassel ( Germany) in 2005. He has worked in several countries ( Germany, Australia, Canada and England) and is currently working with an architectural firm based in central London/ UK. He has experience with a wide array of projects, including small and large residential housing projects, public and commercial projects, furniture design as well as architectural design competitions. Aside from his practical work he also holds a position as a research assistant at the Royal Institute of British Architects’ (RIBA) library. In 2006, he joined the Post-Professional Master of Architecture at McGill University in Montréal, where he is presently working on his final paper in the Domestic Environments/Cultural Landscapes Programme. His main research interests are in housing and the architectural design process per se.
