This project focuses on the Lachine Canal as a site for an artist's residence and studio. The tension between public and private domains as well as the new developmnents along the canal make this an interesting site. The primary design consideration in this project is facade treatment. The facades are seen as sculptural objects which create different and unique spaces inside.
