| description | On a difficult site, above an underground train station and in the median of an existing major thoroughfare, Ernst Mayr designed a 150-metre tall building that responds to the scale of the surrounding buildings. In the front, the building sweeps down to ground level, marking the entrance through a symbolic gesture. In the back, the weight and importance of the building is emphasized through the building's bulk height. |
