Roger D'Astous

I discovered this Montreal architect last semester and I was impressed by his architecture. He was an admirator to Frank Lloyd Wright. However, he did not copy his master, he rather used his principles in a new and modern way, according to his values and own principles.

Frank Lloyd Wright’s philosophy of the natural integration of the buildings inton their surroundings profoundly influenced D’Astous. He always used natural materials to make sure they were well integrated into their environment
