| The Craig Pump station was built in 1887 after a major flooding in 1886, in order to control the water level. It was in function until the 1950's. Since then, it has remained unoccuppied, except at the occasion of two electronic arts and media events organized by Champ Libre. Now, it stands in the shadow of the Jacques-Cartier Bridge, between Viger Street and the Ville-Marie expresssway. |
