HYDRO·POLIS (2004)

Urban Design in collaboration with Ori Guy; Public Space (train station) designed independently

Two-phase project involving the urban renewal of the area around the Peel Basin, in Montréal, as well as the detailed development of a public space in the area.
Design strategy was two-fold: to create a connection with the city and to create a connection with the water. In both cases, this was achieved by linking the development -- physical and visually -- to these elements.
The development of the train station followed a similar design path, further informed by the principal circulation axes.
