ARCHITECT'S STUDIO ADDITION (2002)
In collaboration with Matthew J. Chua
The design of an architect's studio as an addition to a prominent twentieth century house. Creating a dialogue with, yet without repeating, the architecture of the original house, in this case, the Norman Fisher house (Hatboro, PA), designed by Louis I. Kahn.
Primary interest in using the existing geometry to inform the design, which emphasizes the segregation of public and private realms and the superimposition of circulation paths.
