The work of Dale Chihuly is evocative and moving. His mastery of glass manipulation has enabled him to produce work with varying transperences, textures and colours. In a single piece colours can be seen to weave in and out of one another, each plane having a unique identity. He draws his inspiration from the natural world, using organic forms as the starting point. The free form expresion and use of colour are points of inspiration for the project.
