As I walked down the Griffintown, I recognized the notion of fragments versus new. The fragments were reminiscent of old time, of glory at the area of full expansion. Somewhere they were falling into ruins, somewhere they are integral parts of the venues they are immersed in. On the other hand, new buildings and ideas are emerging in the area. Office buildings, residential, lofts, some commercial… New community is being formed? What about ruins?
