Private quarters

Computer room Television room Library Multi-media room Collective areas for personal information gathering. Every body here is exposed to images, but they may hurt only you. Those rooms aren’t very visible, but they can see, they let you observe what happens in the world beneath. Invisible observation towers, effective antennas, build filters…

Kitchen Be at home, cook your food, but get out of your room! Talk to the other ones, the familiar strangers, your roommates! Is this a home or a sheltered public domain? It is serene and white, but not entirely sheltered anymore. Debates are whispered, questions asked over the heavy wooden tables and on the greenish terrace. The city is present, the world’s ferocity too, but they are far below.

15 private rooms, 15 people. Each of them has a monastic cell, a home. They are white and simple, close to the sky, far from the world. 15 private rooms, protected from the wild world, hidden behind wild screens. 15 neutral compartments adaptable to any pain, any joy, neutral behind by a biased cover.

Numbers and measurements

They are obviously hidden at the very top of the building behind the biggest billboards ever seen. Every one can see your home, but nobody knows this is a home. The wind and images scream loud around it, but it is protected in the heights of the media fortress. The walls are white and simple. This is an island of serenity in a wild ocean. A refuge.

Lobby, threshold, gate. Most people cannot cross this opaque door. Are you one of us? Are you invited? A banal door, on a banal street, leads to a sinuous path. It is a lie: you enter a duplex and are guided toward a white clean private zone.
