Public zone

Library It has a peripheral quality. It blends with the event room, but is brighter and calmer. It is more reassuring, less biased for the idea of this very moment.

Projection room All this building is projecting its energy outside, except for this room. Here the process is inverted. The auditorium is the place where you project inside. On the exterior it is extremely plain; some average duplex box. By looking at the details, one can realize something abnormal. There is no door and a strange glow emanates from the windows at night.

Numbers and measurements

The rooms are wide open to each other, wide open to the outside, and wide open to anybody who wants in. The walls, columns, and posts supporting any other functions delimit areas. This zone would be nothing if the other ones did not exist. Public space – le domaine public - is the build out of social structures.

Event room (with stage, table, eating space, small kitchen) Loosely defined space; it is full of shadows and light, full of corners and large openings. It is at the very center of the building and has no choice surrendering to it.
