The cube proved to be the most successful form in fulfilling several of the previously stated criteria;

1. The cube maintains an appropriate level of publicness. The scale of the cube encompasses a proportionately fathomable space within which the surroundings can be read.

2. The proportions of the cube do not garner any spatial associations. (i.e. the particular proportions of a barn which, by association dictate its function).

3. The spatial pattern of the cube continues easily. In other words, the form of the cube as a whole is easily read without moving around it. This criteria is especially important for establishing gestalt reading in order to successfully communicate sensations.
