The initial exercise - a creative/analytic piece - took its cues from the material, creating a 'peg-board' of Montreal. Holes were drilled into a given sheet of masonite to represent lights along major circulation paths, illustrating the islands' interstitial quality.

Digital collages were done throughout the project to illustrate the experiential qualities intended in some of the installations. The installations worked to heighten an awareness of the "natural".
