Concept II Entry building will fill in a gap in the morphology of the neighbourhood north of the site (north of rue Eerie). This entry will be quite close to the Papineau metro station and visitors will be able to easily walk to the factory while avoiding all heavy automobile traffic. Greenhouses will be the major building type above ground. They will be located in the large vacant lot north of rue Viger. Springs are used to represent the greenhouses and burlap is used to show land being purified with different types of planting (Image on the right shows greenhouses). Image (bottom right) shows a view of the site model but with explanations of different elements shown. Conceptual intervention is highlighted in red. Image directly below shows another view of the site model, this time looking towards the south west.
