The Montreal Science Center

The Montreal Science Center runs 2.5 km along the length of the King Edward Pier, which lies across the Jacque-Cartier Basin from the site.  The Centre was opened in May 2000 and is now a popular tourist attraction.

The façade onto the basin is not extremely interesting, but the size and length of the building gives it a significant presence that may have to be addressed on the site.
