An old mansion in Knowlton was being transformed into a community
center but there wasn't enough space for the entire program. We had to
come up with a design solution to this problem. My concept involved wanting
to create a building that would fit into the site without overpowering
the existing beautiful mansion. As the site was very large, I wanted to
utilize the entire site by placing the new building deeper into the site,
while connecting the three buildings with glass corridors that would also
create an enclosed courtyard. |
