One of the most important issues in green architecture is the correct use of the sun's heat and light in design.  Regardless of climate, all green buildings place an emphasis on using as much daylight as possible.  In this way, buildings use less energy while providing a welcome connection to the out doors.  Natural daylighting contributes to reduce operating costs, increase worker productivity, and improve the health and well being of occupants while providing a superior quality of light.
