eco-hotel

This hotel, located atop and behind the Lucien L'Allier metro station, was designed with principally ecological issues in mind. It is a hotel with a medium sized program, for around 80 - 100 people, incorporating a public restaurant, a restaurant/ cafe and a roof top swimming pool.

Ecological issues were addressed through orientation, solar panels, two air shafts that runs all the way down to the bottom most level of the metro, brises soleils and water pipes incorporated in the flooring. One main concept, since the siet took up a whole block, was to incorporate a street through the site on which would lie the principal entrance to the hotel.
