Master Plan

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Urban and landscape design objectives

1) to reexamine the parallel routes of circulation through the site, i.e. vehicular, cycling and pedestrian, and integrate them into the project

2) to examine the morphology of the site and its surroundings and propose appropriate volumetric strategies

3) to specifically reorganize vehicular entry to the des Seigneurs Street Bridge

4) to create an urban park at the scale of the canal. This park will include a hard-surfaced civic space. The layout of the park will provide a link with existing community facilities on des Seigneurs Street.
