The same ramp that divides traffic, a segregation of machines, opens, extends itself temporarily to allow decceleration of speed and interruption of movement. People can once again integrate and interact simply as variations of the same machine: human
The vertical links between each platform, escalator, ramps, elevator, are spaces which can potentially become the transition from segregation to integration and vice versa. Awareness is heightened by viewing another one's path/trajectory: the theatrical dimension of seeing and being seen. |
