Belmont that has 752 dwelling units.  The residential streets have a controlled variation of setbacks. There is a combination of building type and sizes and therefore varying costs.  the neiborhoods are organized around greens and civic buildings, a school, town hall, and several churches. 
The master plan shows the workplace and shopping area along the highway.  The distorted street grid is connected to the adjacent development and link the town to the regional circulation system. 


 

 Seaside.  The geometrically defined center radiates an interconnected street network which adapts to the existing conditions.  
street and squares are the public spaces of a town or neighborhood.  they are no longer than 230 by 600 feet to ensure that building lots front the street.  
Paths go through squares and parks.  
A code was established to ensure that the town design will be implemented.
