The
design of this residence follows the "L"-shaped residence plan of the cluster
which was implemented to define the edges
of
the individual clusters and to define the hierarchy of public to
private spaces of the residences. Each residence has a front
porch
and a semi-private driveway covered by a terrace. Furthermore, each
unit has a tower that is used both as an
anchor
for the corners of the cluster, defining a central common area, and
as mechanism to appreciate the landscape from
above.
As such, the towers compensate for the even relief of the landscape
and offer an architectural character that defines
the
area, the positioning of the clusters within the community, and
the definition of the specific clusters themselves. The
residences
are designed with natural landscapes and separate garages with ancilliary
units above to accommodate family
expansion
or sublet opportunities. Alternatively, this area can be used
for storage purposes.
