The
interior of the library is enhanced by a prominent display of the book
collection. The main arrival space has views of five stories of book
stacks, book spines clearly visible. This adds visual delight to the space
and makes the nature of the building imediately apparent.
This technique is used in the Bibliotheque St. Genevieve as well as countless libraries from 1800's.
