The Analytque is intended to show several of the factors that will ultimately influence the thesis design.  Elements of the analytique are:

1. A sail plan showing the fore topsail.
2. The Block Mills, which are a neighbouring structure to the site.  Note the dry dock to its left.
3. A hull diagram of the Victory.
4. Nelson's famous message at trafalgar in semaphore flags:
    "England Expects that Every Man will do his Duty."
