- An exploration in a studio course
with Professor Ricardo Castro. In this I developed a greater sensitivity to
how something as simple as, the surfaces we walk on, might effect us on our
less 'tapped' levels of consciousness.
- The significant relationship between
the 'Here' and the 'There' were also discussed in the development of this
project. In keeping with the notion set forth be Martin Heidegger, I learned
in this exploration the significance of the 'bridge' in giving significance
to the other side of the river. Without the function of the 'bridge' the other
ceases to exist (for all intensive purposes) Perhaps this 'other' might be
associated with some transcendental qualities.
- The notion of the ''body' and
its potential for 'extentions' was explored as well. The threshold machine
was a physical extension of myself.
