Week 5

1. Please find attached an updated course schedule. You will note several guest lectures planned for the March 17 and March 19 classes.
2 of the speakers are former graduates from the school and both will be talking about some innovative programs relating to sustainability.
On March 17, Wendy Pollard will be speaking about the Equilibium (Net Zero Energy) housing initiative by CMHC
On March 19, Owen Rose will talk about his work at the Urban Ecology Centre
Dennis Fortune from McGill Sustainability with also join us to talk about what is happening at McGill.

2. Due to a number of additional requests, I have finally decided to post the lecture slides. You can find them on the website under required readings.

3. Some students are asking if you need to know how to read other types of solar charts. For the mid-term, you are only required to understand the type shown in the lectures.

4. The LEED Reference guide link seems to be down. You may have to do your reading at the library.
