Upon entrance of any of the small-scale rooms, one must then re-orient without any objects. The lights affected by one's footsteps are intensified, bringing to attention one's path as the only 'object' within the boundary of the room and as the only orientation device. Even the opening in each room does not serve to aid in orientation, as what it reveals is a sliver of the homogenous surroundings.
