The course follows a basic pattern:
Aegina (with visits to Athens) - Attica - Meteora - Delphi - Mani - Nauplion - Santorini - Aegina (with visits to Athens)

The presenatation of assignment I will take place during the first week. Assignment II will be completed and presented during the final days of the course.
Wednesday, May 4
Depart Montréal; overnight flight to Munich (Lufthansa).
Thursday, May 5
Arrive Munich; flight to Athens (Lufthansa). Arrive Athens, bus to Piraeus and ferry to Aegina. Arrival at Hotel Danae.
Friday, May 6
Aegina; first visit to Athens (via ferry). Epigraphic Museum, Areopagus, Plaka district.
Saturday, May 7
Aegina; visit of the Kolona (temple of Apollo).
Sunday, May 8
Aegina; second visit to Athens (via ferry). Theseum (temple of Hephaistos), Agora., Panathenaic Way, Acropolis.
Monday, May 9
Aegina; day-long hike to the summit of Mount Oros. Preparation for departure.
Tuesday, May 10
Depart Aegina; ferry to Piraeus; join bus for tour of Mainland and Peloponesse. Visit Cape Sounion (temple of Poseidon) and Amphiraeon. Night in Oropos.
Wednesday, May 11
Bus to Meteora (Kalambaka). Visit monastery of Agia Triada.
Thursday, May 12
Meteora; monastery of Great Meteoron; hiking.
Friday, May 13
Depart Meteora for Delphi. Visit to Ossios Loukas, arrival in Delphi via Castalia Fountain.
Saturday, May 14
Delphi; morning visit to museum, theatre and archaeological site, stadium. Afternoon visit to lower archaeological site, tholos. Late afternoon hike in hills above site.
Sunday, May 15
Depart Delphi for via Olympia, via bridge to Peloponesse. Visit of Olympia; temples of Hera and Zeus, atelier of Phidias, Olympic Stadium. Depart Olympi for Mani, arrival at Hotel Lemani Village.

Mani.
Tuesday, May 17
Mani; Morning visit to Areopolis, and Vathia; entrance to Hades.
Wednesday, May 18
Depart Mani for Nauplion; visit to Byzantine city of Mystra, arrive Nauplion.
Thursday, May 19
Nauplion; visit to Mycenae; Lion's Gate, citadel, treasury of Atreus; visit to Iraion (Argive Heraion).
Friday, May 20
Nauplion; visit to Argos; Visit to Epidauros; sancturary of Aesclepius and theatre.
Saturday, May 21
Nauplion; visit to Palamidi Fortress. Depart Nauplion for Piraeus; visit to Tyrins, citadel; visit to Corinth, temple of Apollo and museum. Overnight ferry from Piraeus to Santorini.
Sunday, May 22
Arrive Santorini. Explore Oia.
Monday, May 23
Santorini; visit Thira Museum, Akrothiri, black beach. Late afternon hike along Caldera.
Tuesday, May 24
Santorini; visit ancient Thira, red beach.
Wednesday, May 25
Depart Santorini for Aegina; ferry to Piraeus, ferry to Aegina. Return to Hotel Danae.
Thursday, May 26
Aegina; visit to Paleochora, return via Kazantsakis' house.
Friday, May 27
Aegina; third visit to Athens (via ferry); Cycladic Museum, National Gardens, Temple of Zeus, Plaka; possible return visit to Acropolis.

Aegina; visit of the temple of Aphaia.
