The Event Plaza contains a tower located at the corner of St. Lawrence Boulevard and Sherbrooke Street. Connected to this tower is a structure containing both an exhibition space and a cafe which looks out onto an open area with a large reflecting pool, used for skating in the winter. The center of the site is enclosed on all four sides by either buildings, covered walkways or trees. |

The amount of building area has increased and the covered walkway has been extended to connect the various structures. The tower and exhibition space are still located perpendicular to St. Laurent Boulevard, creating a triangular outdoor space bordered by trees to be used for exhibitions and allowing views towards the old houses located along Sherbrooke Street. A dense urban forest following a grid pattern is located at the corner of Milton and Clark Streets. The ticket and information pavilion is located at the corner of St. Laurent and Milton and connects to the long rectangular cafe. The reflecting pool has been eliminated in Model IV, but the idea of using the plaza for skating in the winter persists. A small pavilion for skate rental is located on the west side of the site. |

The urban forest is made up of poplar trees, which grow quickly and up to fifty feet tall. The various buildings follow the angles of the site and create an irregular shaped open space in the center. The building areas and heights have been increased in order to relate to the urban context of the site. |

The final model of the event plaza is set in its surroundings. The roof of the ticket, information and cafe pavilion slopes down towards the center of the site. Presumably, the other buildings surrounding the site would have similar roof structures. The front of the site, parallel to Sherbrooke Street, is lined with small maple trees. |
