5 Flux: Sustainable Design Competition
The CECOBOIS competition allows students in civil engineering, architecture, and design to experiment with the advantages of wood construction. The competition will be held from February 12th-14th at the Universite Laval.

Deadline for registration is Wednesday Dec. 09. Each participant needs to register individually and then form a team.

ISHP Seminar
Joy Knoblauch, Assistant Professor of Architecture at the University of Michigan will be giving a lecture intitled Through the Skin and From the Bed: Community Hospitals as Interfaces with the Public (1946-1963). This Thursday at the Institute for Health and Social Policy, 1130 Pine W.
Practice and theory of sustainable architecture in social housing
In collaboration with the municpiality of Porto, Portugal, Critical Concrete will organize a practical and theoretical Summer School to rebuild abandonned houses and transform these into social housing.

Flux: Sustainable Design Competition
Flux is calling all students designing in Grasshopper, Dynamo, and Excel to enter this student desigh competition focussing on a technology able to meet the demand for affordable and sutainable buildings.
