The University of Montreal’s School of Architecture invites you to their next lecture given by Jean-Marc Weill [Paris]. What are hybrid structures? How can architecture innovate with engineering in solving technical issues in the structure of a building?

Displaying Architecture: Andreas Angelidakis at the CCA
Andreas Angelidakis describes his exhibition practice as a single continuous project that investigates the architecture of exhibiting. This talk will focus on the development of his practice across five exhibitions: the third Thessaloniki Biennial; The System of Objects at the DESTE Foundation in Athens; Every End Is a Beginning at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens; 1:1 Period Rooms, a commission from Het Niuewe Instituut; and the twelfth Baltic Triennial.

Master’s Degree Recruitment: Hybrid structural system integrating underfloor displacement ventilation
Laval University in Quebec is looking for graduate students to conduct research on displacement ventilation. The project will explore the functional and technical advantages of solid wood panels in a hybrid structural system integrating technical spaces.
